How to avoid the crowd at the Louvre ?
If you want to avoid the crowds, you need to go to the Louvre on Thursday or Friday.
The best season to visit the Louvre is on January or February, that's there are less crowds in the Louvre.
As Versailles Palace is closed on Mondays, visitors tend to go to the Louvre on Monday
so, I would avoid Mondays at the Louvre.
Wednesday is the day when french people go to the Louvre with the kids on a school educational trip. Also, because on Tuesday, the Louvre was closed, some visitors plan their Louvre journey on Wednesday.
