I will help you buy your Louvre tickets

When planning your visit to the Musée du Louvre, please be cautious when purchasing tickets. 

Since January 2026 Louvre Museum does not offer anymore professional tickets to regular clients, you need to buy your tickets in advance with your Guide Conferencier (Licensed Guides) or accredited agency in order to get a professional tour and Skip The Line Tickets.

If you are intending a Private Guided tour in the Louvre, we recommend you contacting us to buy your tickets or contact your Private guide, at least 2 weeks prior the Louvre guided tour. 

Skip-the-line / Museum Pass / Passport

Skipping the Line is granted since January 14th, 2026 at Richelieu Gates for Private tours with Licensed Guide (Guide Conférencier).

It is also possible for holders of a special card from "Amis du Louvre" but agencies are not allowed to use this card for commercial or professional purposes. 

Museum Pass : With the museum pass, you still need to make a reservation. You need a "free" ticket, and you will wait in line with a timed ticket.

The museum pass starts when you use it the first time at one of the Louvre checkpoints. If the 4-days Pass starts, it will end on the 4th day counting from the first day (actually that first hour) it was used, regardless if you use it the second day or not. 

Do not forget to bring your ID just in case the security needs to check it.

The Louvre sells two types of tickets : 

• Regular tickets : 32 euro
• Professional with Skip-the-line Tickets : 28 euro per person + 20 euro reservation for Skipping the Line at Richelieu Gates.

For Regular Tickets : I advise to buy your tickets from official websites : the Louvre official website or the official Fnac website. if you are going to see the Louvre on your own, without a private guide.

2. Check if the dates you want are still open
3. Do not buy the tickets yet, if you need a guided tour
4. The professional tickets and regular tickets are not the same. We can have more availibilites for organizing a professional tour.

How far in advance can you buy your Louvre tickets?

The availabe tickets can appear for only 3 months ahead.

1 People < Small Group < 6 people < Big Group < 20 people

Since 2026, the Louvre considers any visit with a private guide as a group visit, under 20 persons.

Any "Group" must buy the Reservation Right to regulate small and big groups visiting the Louvre, in order to have less people at the Skip the Line entrance, and less guides "yelling" in the museum and keep the Louvre experience peaceful for everyone.

Small Group = under 6 people = 20 euro Reservation*

Big Group = more than 6 and under 20 = 90 euro Reservation*  

*In addition to the tickets, the Louvre obliged a "Right to Reservation" (20 euro for Small Group, 90 euro for Big Groups) that we will need to buy for you, individual tickets (28 euro per adult, 0 euro for children < 18).

if you are a family of 6 people?

*if you go with a certified tour guide :

2 adults + 4  children = 6 people => you will need a Reservation right from the Louvre. 

20 euro from the Louvre + 2 adult tickets (28X2 = 56 euro) from the Louvre + Price of the guided service.

Total tickets 76 euro

Adult = Over 18 year-old 

Babies, Children and Teens are counted as visitors but their tickets are free.

Use Case Examples : 

You are a family of 7 people ?

*if you go with a certified tour guide :

2 adults + 5 children = 7 people => you will need a Reservation right from the Louvre of 90 euros ! 

90 euro from the Louvre + 2 adult tickets (28X2 = 56 euro) from the Louvre + 5 children tickets (Free, 0 euro) Price 146 euro

You are a family of 9 people ?

*if you go with a certified tour guide :

4 adults + 3 children + babies = 9 people => you will need a Reservation right from the Louvre of 90 euros ! 

90 euro from the Louvre + 4 adult tickets (28X4 = 112 euro) from the Louvre + 5 children (Free, 0 euro) = Total Price 202 euro just for the tickets !

You don't go with a certified tour guide :

You do not need a reservation as you do not have a guide. You will need to buy only two regular adult tickets (32X2 = 64euro) and reserve free 4 children tickets (important).

Total Price 64 euro but no skip the line is possible and you can not add the guide later. You have to abandon the regular ticket and buy new professional tickets.

If you are a classroom of more than 24 people?

In order to control the flow of crowds, the museum can not admit a group of more 24 people all together. 

So if your group is more than 24 people, you must constitute 2 groups with 2 guides or 2 different time slots. 

What about a group of 30 people? 

a group of 30 people can not visit the Louvre all together, not even with a certified guide. 30 people at the same time is just impossible. 

You need to split into 2 groups of 15 people.
