The Louvre does not offer anymore tickets at the stands, you need to buy your tickets online, in advance.
I recommend you buy tickets online from the official website, at least 1 month prior the Louvre guided tour.
Skip-the-line / Museum Pass / Passport
Skipping the Line is only possible with a certified tour guide or with a special card from "Amis du Louvre".
Regular tickets
If you have bought the regular tickets (17euro) from the Louvre, it is sufficient to skip the Line with me, at the Richelieu gate. This is only possible with an accredited tour guide.
I advise to buy your tickets from official websites : the Louvre official website or the official Fnac website.
6 people < 1 Group < 24 people < 2 groups
The Louvre considers a group visit : any group of people with more than 6 people, visiting the Louvre with a tour guide.
Any group of more than 6 people (6 is not a group, 7 is a group)
A Group must buy the Right to Speak / Droit de parole. The right ot speak is a Louvre rule for the guide, to regulate big groups visiting the Louvre, in order to have less people "yelling" in the museum and keep the Louvre experience peaceful for everyone.
In addition to the right to Speak (70 euro) , you will need to buy individual tickets (17 euro per adult, 0 euro for children < 18).
if you are a family of 7 people?
*if you go with a certified tour guide :
2 adults + 5 children = 7 people => you will need a right to speak 70 euro from the Louvre + 2 adult tickets (17X2 = 34 euro) from the Louvre + Price of the guided service
*if you don't go with a certified tour guide :
You don't need a reservation for the right to speak, as you do not have a guide, but you will need to buy two adult tickets (17X2 = 34 euro)
I hope this is helpful. If not, contact me by email with your questions. I will be happy to answer you.
if you are a classroom of more than 24 people?
In order to control the flow of tourists, the museum can not admit a group of more 24 people.
So if your group is more than 24 people, you must constitute 2 groups with 2 guides or 2 different time slots.
What about a group of 30 people?
a group of 30 people can not visit the Louvre together, not even with a guide. 30 people at the same time is just impossible.
You need to split into 2 groups of 15 people.
I can purchase the tickets for you :
Be careful : all tickets are personal with your name and date on it.
You can't buy tickets from another app or another website claiming to sell skip the line tickets. You can't complain either, as these platform are international (and not local)
For example : the FNAC is the only French company allowed to sell National museums tickets because the FNAC (Fédération nationale d'achats) is historically selling culture and spectacle tickets since 1970.
If you decide to buy the tickets with me, I will not add any fees, just the exact amount : 17 euro.
I will need your dates, your family name and the number of adults/ children in your party.
The private & confidential data will never be stored or shared. It is used strictly only to buy the tickets, then it will be deleted.
This is where to go to check if your time slot is still available :
Your Louvre tickets should look like this.
Please verify with your provider that you have your name & date & hour & a bar code on a pdf ticket from the official Louvre Billeterie
